A vibrant co curricular programme merged with academics develop the collaborative abilities, problem solving attitude, management skills and self esteem in cadets. Indeed these combine to educate and develop a child holistically. There are more than several activities for students to choose from and these in turn help students to express themselves, find themselves, outside the classroom.

Co-curricular pursuits include quizzing, debating, elocution, dramatics, fine art, Hindi writing, Hindi Creative writing, English writing, English Creative writing, Odia Creative writing, Hobby Clubs and many more.

Sainik School started life as Welham Preparatory School way back in 1937,when Ms. Oliphant invested her humble capital and started the School in a rented building, which she called White House. Later, she rented another building Bethany that today is our dining hall.
