Sainik School Sambalpur

FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

The most precious times of an individual’s life are spent in Schools, not in terms of reading textbooks and completing the syllabus but also for overall growth of a child and to make them fit in this challenging and competitive world as it is rightly said ‘Only the strongest and Fittest are accepted and appreciated by the Society’.

This school has been established with an aim to prepare the cadets for all spheres of Defence Services, however, at the same time it is also equally important to make the child self-dependent, who can decide right and wrong and to nurture the best values and practices. We, with the help of experienced and dedicated staff members provide a platform which helps the cadets in their overall development including physical, mental and moral.

As I walk down the hallways of the school every day, I can hear the chatter of eager minds, the shouts of excitement from the victorious athletes, the thump of dancer feet and the sound of melodious voices harmonizing. The perpetual energy, movement and enthusiasm permeate the atmosphere at SAINIK SCHOOL. We are a school with a difference! We value individualism, creativity and innovation and strive to nurture them in our cadets.

Education is a tool which needs the skill of transparency irrespective of religion, caste, sex and creed and it is not a duty it is the right of every child, and we therefore provide a holistic and quality education here in this school. At the end would like to extend my best wishes to all the cadets, parents and staff.
